The Union shall finance three to five-year work programmes to be drawn up by producer organisations recognised under Article 152, associations of producer organisations recognised under Article 156 or interbranch organisations recognised under Article 157 (Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013) in one or more of the following areas:
(a) market follow-up and management in the olive oil and table olives sector;
(b) the improvement of the environmental impact of olive culti vation;
(c) the improvement of the competitiveness of olive cultivation through modernisation;
(d) the improvement of the production quality of olive oil and table olives;
(e) the traceability system, the certification and protection of the quality of olive oil and table olives, in particular the monitoring of the quality of olive oils sold to final consumers, under the authority of the national adminis trations;
(f) the dissemination of information on measures carried out by producer organisations, associations ofproducer organi sations or interbranch organisations to improve the quality of olive oil and table olives.
The Union financing of the work programmes for the period 2023 – 2027 shall be 10.666.000,00 € per year except for the year 2023 when Union financing will be 4.850.000,00 €.
Work Programs of Oil Producer Organizations (OEF), may include the following actions:
The minimum turnover of olive, olive oil production value is set at € 800,000.00.For producer organizations operating in the Regions of the North and South Aegean, Ionian Islands and on islands of the Regions of Eastern Macedonia – Thrace, Thessaly, Central Greece, Attica the minimum turnover of olive, olive oil production value is set at € 300,000.00.
